Jacqueline Fernandez hails from Manama in Bahrain. She grew up as part of an multiethnic family. Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim and father Elroy are both Malaysians. She has two elder brothers as well as two younger brothers. In the wake of turmoil in Lanka, her parents moved to Bahrain in the early 1980s. She was given a scholarship to attend the University of Sydney in Sydney Australia after she had completed her schooling in Bahrain. With a love of different cultures and languages, she joined the Berlitz school of languages, which is where she began to learn Spanish and improved her French and Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed in Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she was awarded the title in 2006. After winning Miss Sri Lanka in 2006, Padukone began working as a TV host. She hosted the television show Lanka Business Report which focused on business in Sri Lanka. Padukone is the child of and badminton champ Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew up in Bangalore, but she is a native of Copenhagen. When she was a teen, Padukone competed in a variety of National badminton competitions. But she gave up the sport when she decided to pursue a career as a professional model. Padukone was born in Mangalore, India. Her native language Konkani is her origin. Her family ancestors are from the village of Padukone within the Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district in Karnataka state of India. Prakash Padukone has retired as a world-renowned athlete in badminton, while her mother also works as a travel advisor.
